So do not let the one who does not believe in [the Day of Judgment] and follows his desires turn you away from it, for you [then] would perish.
Quran, 20:15-16
That Day, the Holy Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, no one will speak except the one permitted by [God] the Most Merciful, and says what is right. That is the Day of Truth.
So he who wills may take to his Lord a way of return. Indeed, We have warned you of an imminent torment on a day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth [in his life] and the disbeliever will say: “Oh, I wish that I were dust!"
Quran, 78:38-40
When the greatest Overwhelming Calamity comes. The Day when man will remember all what he strove for in his life.
The Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see. So as for the one who transgressed and preferred the life of the world, then indeed, Hellfire will be his refuge. But as for the one who feared his Lord and prevented himself from evil desires, Then indeed, Paradise will be his refuge.
They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: “When is its arrival?" In what [position] are you that you should mention it? To your Lord belongs the knowledge of its ultimate end. You are only a Warner for those who fear it
It will be, on the Day they see it, as if they had not remained [in the world] except for an evening or its morning.
Quran, 79:34-46
On the Day of Judgment, the earth is leveled, pounded and crushed. And your Lord comes with His angels in rows, rank upon rank. And the Hell is brought closer to be seen by all people.
That Day, man will remember his deeds, but what good to him will be the remembrance? He will say: “Oh, I wish I had sent ahead some good deeds during my life.
For, that Day, the punishment of God and His detention will be unparalleled.
To the soul of the righteous will be said: O Soul at peace! [reassured and secure] Return to your Lord, well-pleased and He is pleased with you. And enter among My righteous servants and enter My Paradise.
And when the Horn is blown on the Day of Judgment, they will resurrect at once from their graves and they will hasten to their Lord.
They will say, “O woe to us! Who has raised us up from our graves?" [The reply will be], “This is what your Lord the Most Merciful had promised, and this is the truth told by His messengers".
It will not be but one cry, and behold all of them brought together before Us! So, today no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be rewarded except for what you did.
On the Day of Judgment and after all people stand before their Lord, the righteous will be the companions of the Paradise. They and their spouses are in [cool] shade, reclining on adorned couches, eating fruits and their wishes are achieved. It is said to them: “Peace be upon you," a word from the Most Merciful Lord.
On the Day of Judgment, criminals and sinners will be separated and moved away from the righteous and other people.
The Lord will say to them: “Did not I enjoin on you, O you Children of Adam, that you should not worship Satan? Surely he is your open enemy. And that you worship [only] Me? This is the right and straight path.
The Satan had already led astray a great multitude of you. So did you not use reason? This is the Hellfire that you were promised.
Enter to burn therein today for what you used to deny
That Day, We will seal over their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will testify about what they used to earn.
And if We willed, We could have blinded their eyes, and they would race to find the path, and how could they see?
We did not teach Muhammad poetry, nor was he supposed to be a poet. What he recited to you is the word of God, the illustrious Quran.
This is to warn those who have soft hearts and the charge will be proven against those who reject the Truth.
The Inevitable Event Surah Al- Waqi'ah
Quran, 56:1- 96In the name of God, The most Merciful, the most Compassionate
When the inevitable event happens, there is no denying that it will befall. It will bring down some people and raise up others. [Some are abased and some are exalted].
When the earth is shaken with a severe shaking and the mountains are crumbled so they become scattered dust.
Then you shall be sorted into three kind: The companions of the right - what will be the companions of the right?
And the companions of the left- what will be the companions of the left?
And the forerunners the foremost in faith and virtue - Those are the ones brought near God.
They will dwell in gardens of delight. They are a multitude from the former believers but very few from the latter generations.
In the Paradise, they will recline on couches woven with ornament, facing each other.
Immortal youths will serve them with goblets, shining jugs, and cups filled out of clear-flowing fountains. No headache will they have there from, nor will they be intoxicated.
Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice and bird meat from whatever they desire.
They will have maidens with large beautiful eyes, the likenesses of pearls well-protected. This is their reward for their good deeds.
They will not hear any ill speech or sinful discourse, only the say of peace and peace.
The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? They will be surrounded with thornless lote-trees and trees with fruits piled one above another and spreading shade.
Water will be gushing near them and plenty of fruits will be available for them, neither limited to season nor forbidden. They will sit on coaches raised high and will be married to loving wives who were created in the Paradise virgins and of equal age.
This is all for the companions of the right, a multitude of the former generations and a multitude of the latter generations.
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? They will be in a blowing heat and scalding fluid. They will be in a shade of black smoke, neither cool nor refreshing. Indeed they were, before that, indulged in luxury. They used to persist on the great sin.
And they used to say: “When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? And our forefathers as well?"
Say [O Muhammad]: “Indeed, the former and the later peoples are to be gathered together for the appointment of a known day." Then you who had gone astray and rejected the Truth will eat from bitter trees until you fill your stomachs with it. Then you will drink on top of it from scalding water like very thirsty camels. That is their accommodation on the Day of Recompense.
We have created you, so why do you not believe? Have you seen the semen that comes out of you? Do you create it or are We the Creator?
We have decreed death among you and We are not to be outdone in replacing you with another creation like you, and changing you into a form which you do not know. You knew your first creation, will not you remember? [it is not hard for the one who created you to bring you back to life after your death.]
Have you seen the seeds that you cultivate? Do you yourselves grow its plants or is it We who make them grow? If We willed, We could make it [dry] debris and you would remain in wonder, saying: “We are indeed left with debts for nothing. Rather, we have been deprived."
Have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?
Have you seen the fire that you kindle? Is it you who produced its tree or are We the producer? We have made it a reminder and provision for the travelers. So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great.
I swear by the setting of the stars and indeed it is a great oath if you could know, it is a noble Quran, in a register well-protected, none can touch it except the purified.
It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds
Is this the Message that you disdain? And make the thanks for your provision that you deny the Provider?
When the soul at death reaches the throat, and you are at that time looking on.
And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see. So if you think that you will not be held accountable for your deeds on the Day of Judgment, then bring back the soul of the dying person to its body, if you are truthful?
If the one dying was of the forerunners brought near to God, then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure.
And if he was of the companions of the right, then [the angels will say], “Peace for you. You are from the companions of the right."
But if he was of the deniers of the Truth who lead astray in his life [i.e. he was among the companions of the left], then for him is an accommodation in scalding water and roasting Hellfire.
Indeed, this is an absolute Truth with certainty. So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great
Quran, 56:1-96
The Sent Forth Surah Al-Mursalat
Quran, 56:1-96In the name of God,The most Merciful, the most Compassionate
By the winds sent forth one after another to benefit humankind.
And by the winds that blow violently. And by the winds that spread clouds and rain to intended places.
And by the angels who come down with divine revelations to prophets and messenger in order to educate people and warn them.
And to make a clear distinction between right and wrong.
Assuredly, what you are promised is to occur. When the stars become dim.
And when the heaven is opened. And when the mountains are blown away. And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed.
For what Day are such calamitous events been postponed? For the Day of Decisiveness that separates between oppressors and oppressed and between right and wrong.
But did you ask yourselves what you know about the Day of Decisiveness? Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Did not We cause death to the former nations and destroy the oppressors and criminals among them? Then We will follow them with the later ones.
Even thus shall We deal with the criminals. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Did not We create you from a disdained liquid? And We placed it in a firm place to stay (in the womb) for a specified period and an appointed time? We determined it, and how excellent what We proportioned and fashioned. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Have We not made the earth as a containing and gathering place; both for the living and the dead.
And made therein lofty mountains, and given you sweet potable water to drink? Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
It will be said to them: “Proceed to that which you used to deny". Proceed to a shadow of smoke having three columns. Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. Indeed,
it shoots out sparks as big as towers or black yellowish camels [in size]. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth
That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. They will not be permitted to put forth excuses. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
That day is the Day of Decisiveness. On that day, We shall gather you together and those before you! No one can escape it
So if you have a plan or a plot, then plan it against Me! Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Indeed, the righteous will be amid shades and springs. They will have fruits from whatever they desire.
They will be told: “Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do." This is how We reward the well-doers. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Eat and enjoy yourselves a little in your ending life. Indeed, you are guilty. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
When it is said to them: worship your Lord, submit and bow down to Him, they do not do. Woe, that Day, to the deniers of truth.
Then what Message, after the Quran, will they believe in?
Quran, 77:1-50
The Splitting Asunder Surah Al-Inshiqaq
Quran, 84:1- 25In the name of God,The most Merciful, the most Compassionate
When the sky has split into parts and pieces, then it has responded to its Lord and it was obligated to do so.
And when the earth has been extended and stretched out and has cast out all that was in it and became empty, then it has responded to its Lord and it was obligated to do so.
O Mankind! Indeed you are exerting a great effort in this life and at the end you are returning to your Lord [only carrying your deeds, good or bad].
Then as for him who is given his book of deeds in his right hand, he will be judged with an easy account and will receive an easy reckoning. He will return to his folk in happiness.
But as for him who is given his book of deeds behind his back, he will cry out for loss and destruction. He will enter into burning fire to roast at a blaze.
He used to live among his people joyfully careless of doing good, thinking he would never return to his Lord. But yes! Indeed, his Lord had sight and was watchful of him.
No! I swear by the twilight, and by the night and what it envelops in its darkness, and by the moon when it becomes full, that you shall go through the stages of your life one after the other, each stage is more difficult than the previous one until you reach the Heareafter.
So what is the matter with them that they do not believe?
And when the Quran is recited to them, they do not prostrate to their Lord [to show respect and glorification]?
But those who disbelieved deny the truth. God knows very well what they are secreting and keeping in their minds and hearts. So, give them tidings of a painful punishment.
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is an unfailing and uninterrupted reward.
Quran, 84:1-25The Quaking Surah Al Zalzalah
Quran, 99: 1-8In the name of God,The most Merciful, the most Compassionate
And the earth discharges its burdens [expelling the bodies of the dead people].
When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake.
And man says: “What is wrong with it?" That Day,
the earth will tell its news as your Lord has commanded it.
That Day, all people will come out of their graves separated into categories to be shown the result of their deeds.
So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.
And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
The Great Pounding Surah Al Qari'ah
Quran, 101:1-11In the name of God,The most Merciful, the most Compassionate
The Striking Calamity [of great pounding].
And what makes you realize the Striking Calamity?
It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed.
And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.
As for the one whose good deeds weigh heavier [on the scale], he will be in a pleasant life.
But as for the one whose good deeds will be lighter [on the scale] then his refuge will be in a bottomless place.
But as for the one whose good deeds will be lighter [on the scale] then his refuge will be in a bottomless place.
And what makes you know what that is? It is a blazing Fire!
Quran, 101:1-11Pompeii, The Untold Story
Pompeii was an ancient Roman town or city near modern Naples, in southern Italy. In 79 CE, the nearby Mt. Vesuvius erupted, burying it under tons of volcanic ash and pumice of more than four meters high
The site was lost for about 1,500 years until its initial rediscovery in 1599 and broader rediscovery almost 150 years later by Spanish engineer Rocque Joaquin de Alcubierre in 1748.
The objects that lay beneath the city had been preserved for centuries because of the lack of air and moisture. These artifacts provide an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city during the Roman era
Pompeii has been one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy for more than 200 years.
It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that attracts 2.5 million visitors every year. When you visit Pompeii, you will be astonished when you see the people who died approximately two thousand years ago in the same position as when they were covered by the volcano.
The other side of the story of Pompeii is really surprising. Digs and excavations found that Pompeii is full of erotic images as carvings, frescoes, symbols, and inscriptions. Even ordinary household items had a sexual theme. The ubiquity of such imagery and items in the whole city was amazing.
The Lupanar of Pompeii is the most famous ancient surviving brothel in the world. It is of particular interest for the erotic paintings on its walls that survived until present time.
Lupanar is Latin for "brothel". It is estimated that Pompeii had more than 35 lupanares. Given a population of ten thousand in Pompeii during the first century CE, this means one brothel per 286 people or 71 adult males
The term Secret Museum or Secret Cabinet in the National Archaelogical Museum, Naples, Italy refers to the collection of erotic art in Pompeii and Herculaneum, held in separate galleries
