  • Our Lord and our God

WHAT IS THE NAME OF OUR GOD?

In Judaism , the name of God is a word of four letters, YHVH, which is assumed to be pronounced "Yahweh". In Judaism, pronouncing YHVH incorrectly is considered sinful. Jews use the word "Adonai" instead in their prayers, which means God.

Many Jews also write "G-d" instead of "God". They do it to remind themselves of the holiness attached to God's name. English translations of the Bible generally render YHVH as "Lord".

In Christianity , the name of God is not human defined, but has divine origin and is based on divine revelation. Respect for the name of God is one of the Ten Commandments...

  • The Invisible Creatures of God

    God created angels from light

Angels are invisible creatures or celestial beings that do God's will and carry out God's tasks such as managing certain functions in the universe.
Angels are God's soldiers. They worship Him and they are dedicated for Him
    (see Psalm 103:20, Matthew 26:53)
Angels are mentioned in the Bible from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation.

Psalm 91:11, Matthew 18:10 and Acts 12:15 indicate humans have guardian angels. Matthew 13:49 indicates that angels will separate the wicked from the just on the Last Day.

  • The Story of Life and Divine Revelations

Why do we exist on Earth?

The purpose of life is to add value to the world, not to cause any mischief in the kingdom of God.
This is the essence of worshiping God. God made life on the earth temporal and short. He also made it a test for humankind.
Every person has a date of birth and a date of death on which he or she will depart this world (the kingdom of God).
No one will live forever. Within one hundred years, nearly all people currently on the Earth will die and be replaced with new generations.

  • Are Three Any Other Creators ?

The precise and interdependent system that controls the universe indicates it must be created by one and only one creator. Otherwise, multiple creators would have different ways of creation and different controlling systems.

The interdependence of creatures indicates our creator is the one who created all other creatures. He is the same one who created the whole universe and all beings. He must be one and only one, otherwise clashes and incompatibles would occur.

Although the word "Quran" is derived from the Arabic verb "qara’a," which means "read", it is only used to describe the book revealed to Prophet Muhammad over a period of 23 years in original Arabic through archangel Gabriel.
It is considered by Muslims as the eternal Message of God to all humanity.

In other words, there was no human author of the Quran, but there were writers for the verses that were memorized in the hearts of many companions of Prophet Muhammad.
